Make yourself at home on large comfy couches surrounded by recycled amenities including antique drop leaf table, slate-topped end table, original hand thrown ceramic sculpture, early Mineral Point photographs, handsome stone walls, and beautiful stained glass.

Definitely a room with a view! You're looking from the hand-forged iron sleigh bed toward the 1930s rescued and renewed windows. There's a small iron table and chairs by the windows, just right for morning coffee. The door also features stained glass.

Lots of pillows, of course, on the comfortable, hand-forged queen sleigh bed, in a room featuring 1840s stone walls, recycled wood, and  antique furnishings. A table and chairs by a colorful wall of stained glass awaits your morning coffee. There's a washer/dryer in the hall.

The colorful, art-filled kitchen area features a frig, microwave, coffeemaker, blue glass dishware, and an antique drop leaf table and four chairs, and an old-fashioned large country sink. With leaf-filtered light streaming in the  tall, deep windows you'll find even a simple cup of coffee an exquisite pleasure.

Multi-hued, recycled bead board enlivens bathroom walls, along with a corner sink and a mirror made from an old iron scale. Between the old claw foot tub and the modern shower is a remarkable wall of masonry "finds", including fossils, arrowheads, unusual bricks and stone, even lead from the old Mineral Point mines.

From the old scythe handles used as hand rails to the old stone steps from living room to bed and bath, you'll find every inch a delight to see and to touch. $169/night.
